About

A guide written by someone who has stood in the rain at your venue.

The Seattle Wedding Vendor Guide is run by Nora Lindqvist, a former Seattle planner. She spent years loading vans at the Georgetown warehouses, holding umbrellas on the Bainbridge ferry and calling florists from the Fauntleroy dock.

She started the Guide because couples kept asking the same thing: who is good, who is real and who will write back. So every pro here is read by a person before going live, and you write to pros directly, not through a call center.

Couples never pay. Pros pay a flat plan to be listed, and Featured pros pay for a labelled placement. Nobody pays per lead.

How we vet

Five things, every time.

A person reads each application against this list and decides: approve, ask for changes, or decline with a reason. Photos are approved one by one, and go public only while the listing is live.

  • Two or more years in business
  • At least six weddings you can show us
  • Working in the Seattle area
  • Licensed and insured where your trade requires it
  • Prices you're willing to publish
